چکیده

The increasing level of anthropogenic environmental pollution and effective means to reduce the negative impact xenobiotics on animal human health is an urgent problem today. Considering this, purpose study examine effect heavy metals accumulation processes under poisoning conditions, biochemical parameters in body rats. Analogue groups were formed rats same age, gender, weight conduct study. Rats poisoned with solutions copper sulfate, zinc cadmium lead nitrate for 14 days. Using method infrared spectroscopy, substantial differences spatial structure protein components intact animals established. difference between spectral characteristics examined tissues clearly demonstrated by statistical indicators skewness kurtosis. It was determined that copper, zinc, cadmium, ions affects course glycolysis reactions tricarboxylic acid cycle, which leads a likely increase serum concentrations lactate pyruvate, oxaloacetate α-ketoglutarate decrease Malate content compared established conditions poisoning, there also (P < 0.05) blood, liver, kidneys. In metals, pool free amino acids kidneys observed. particular, aspartic acid, valine, glycine, tyrosine, cystine (more than 1.5 times) such decreases; alanine, leucine, serine, taurine, threonine, phenylalanine 2.0 times), lysine – 3.4-4.9 times. Therewith, isoleucine methionine 1.3-1.5 times, ornithine 1.8-2.1 glutamic 4.4-5.3 times experimental group ones identified. results can be helpful professional activities doctors veterinary medicine, toxicologists, biologists, environmentalists used control quality livestock products, toxicological studies, analyse objects

Heavy metal toxicity: Effect on plant growth, biochemical parameters and metal accumulation by Brassica juncea L.

Plant growth, pigment concentration, biochemical parameters and uptake of heavy metals were determined for Brassica juncea L. in response to cadmium and lead stress. The plant exhibited a decline in growth, chlorophyll content and carotenoids with Cd and Pb but Cd was found to be more detrimental than Pb treatment in B. juncea. The protein content was decreased by Cd (900 μM) to 95% and 44% by ...

Heavy Metal Poisoning in Birds

Heavy metal poisonings in birds most commonly occur from ingestion of substances containing lead or zinc. Lead that is ingested can be absorbed through the gastrointestinal tract and then taken up by soft tissues and eventually by bone. Lead affects all major organs and can cause damage to the gastrointestinal tract, red blood cells, kidneys and liver. Clinical signs of heavy metal toxicosis ma...

Heavy Metal Poisoning and Cardiovascular Disease

Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is an increasing world health problem. Traditional risk factors fail to account for all deaths from CVD. It is mainly the environmental, dietary and lifestyle behavioral factors that are the control keys in the progress of this disease. The potential association between chronic heavy metal exposure, like arsenic, lead, cadmium, mercury, and CVD has been less well de...

Heavy metal poisoning: clinical presentations and pathophysiology.

Humans have had a long and tumultuous relationship with heavy metals. Their ubiquitous nature and our reliance on them for manufacturing have resulted at times in exposures sufficient to cause systemic toxicity. Their easy acquisition and potent toxicity have also made them popular choices for criminal poisonings. This article examines the clinical manifestation and pathophysiology of poisoning...

Heavy metal poisoning and its laboratory investigation.

The term `heavy metal' is, in this context, imprecise. It should probably be reserved for those elements with an atomic mass of 200 or greater [e.g., mercury (200), thallium (204), lead (207), bismuth (209) and the thorium series]. In practice, the term has come to embrace any metal, exposure to which is clinically undesirable and which constitutes a potential hazard. Our intention in this revi...
